Spring Break, Filing, Etc.

This is our week of spring break from school! Yay! The weather is still not feeling much like spring, but it is nice to be free from the constraint of the books and able to concentrate more on homemaking! I have a long list of things that really need to be done around here and I am also trying to carve out times to relax and rejuvenate for the home stretch of our school year.

Project number one this week was completely cleaning out Andrew's closet, which is a major storage closet for us and also the place I do my filing. In the process of organizing I found some pretty cool things, including the little book below that Rachel and I must have made when she was 3 years old. She and I had fun looking at it now -- both of us had forgotten about the imaginary cats. :)

The three older children started 4-H archery tonight. I had no idea we would be outdoors! Why did I think we would be in the Club Building? The kids are pretty excited about this sport and we will see how the season unfolds.

I'm looking forward to the predicted warmer temperatures at the end of the week, but I'm not ready for the week to be over yet!!!

I know you've talked about living in Scotland before but I have always wondered why you lived there- -- and don't now!
Thanks for sharing these sweet homely things.
