This week was not as busy for the tea trolley, but there was still plenty of tea (or coffee) consumed around here!
Wednesday night found me at Starbucks with a friend, waiting for Rachel while she was at Bible study. Starbucks does coffee best, so I ordered my usual decaf misto and my friend and I sat and worked on our knitting or crochet and looked through books on the subjects. It turned out we had each brought the very same book to show the other.
I love drooling over tea in grocery stores or whatever store I happen to be at. Here is the international display at the store I frequent. Only a few options for tea, but also a few "tea accompaniments" to think about.
Do you see that box of Tetley Decaf below? A very thoughtful blog reader from Canada sent that to me via her sister! Wasn't that so kind? She knew it was my favorite daily choice and that I was running out.
The green teas were picked up at a local salvage store this week. The salvage store is particularly good at stocking huge amounts of herbal and regular teas including really nice name-brand teas. I decided on these two green teas to try.
Tonight I am off to our church's women's retreat and we are to have a tea tasting so I must get all the necessities packed up and ready: teacups, teapots, tea cozies, kettle, tea, milk, strainer, etc.
I have also finally started work on a new tea cozy for my favorite pot -- so I no longer have to use the Christmas pud cozy which is the only one that fits!!

The tea tasting sounds fun! It looks like you guys will have some brilliant weather for the retreat! Enjoy!
I've found interesting tea at Tuesday Morning, although they don't discount their food dramatically.
When I'm at Starbuck's at night (which is very rare these days), I love their hot caramal apple drink.
Christopher was the first to tell me about it a few years ago and just recently he introduced Melissa to it. She says it is now her favorite drink at Starbucks. Sometimes it is listed in the children's drinks. :)
I'm going to link an old-y that I think fits the bill. Thanks! I'm also linking your last post in my current post as the pattern I'm taking with me to the coast today..
Blessings, Debbie
I forgot to mention that even though the post I linked to is old, it comes up when when people choose the poetry link on my sidebar so it still gets current views. :)
