Words and Wool

I can't remember if I posted a picture of Laura with her finished Tiny Tea Leaves cardigan or not. So here is a recent one! The green is perfect for her and she does love it.

I need to deliver an order of Christmas flowers tomorrow so I've been sewing a lot this week.

And making some progress on my Ballyshannon which I am enjoying quite a bit!

As for books:

The Art of Neighboring: Building Genuine Relationships Right Outside Your Door by Jay Pathak and Dave Runyon is SUCH a good book! It is easy to read and the basic premise is that the Bible boils down to two commands: Love God and love your neighbor and too many of us are not giving attention to this second commandment.

Pardonable Lies: A Maisie Dobbs Novel (Maisie Dobbs Novels) by Jacqueline Winspear is the latest Maisie Dobbs novel I am reading. I love having a novel by my bedside that I look forward to reading all through the day. :) Once again we have post-WWI Britain, female detective, with plenty of lovely details and twists to the story.

That's it for this week! For more ideas visit Ginny's Yarn A Long.

This is the first time I have visited and so glad I did. I love the card and will look for the pattern. Great photos too and lots to explore on the blog. Visiting via Yarnalong
