We are having a bit of spring break from school this week. I can't believe how much "fun" it is to be able to concentrate on housework and not worry about schoolwork! Wow! I think breaks from school are more for the teacher than for the children.My list is long, and I know I won't get everything done, but some of the things I need to accomplish are: taxes, changing over the winter/summer clothes, some cleaning, and some garden work.
Stopped at the library today to pick up my latest holds. Picking up my "books on hold" is something that gives me so much pleasure I really feel I should be paying more than I do (hmmmm......well, I guess I'm paying $3/week to belong to IMCPL which is about the price of a Starbucks. At least the library brings me far more pleasure.) Picked up "Lady Almina and the Real Downton Abbey" and can't wait to start reading it. I can't wait to tell you all the other fun books I'm reading too........

How perfect to have spring break during Easter week. The schools here are all back and session and it just doesn't make sense to me. I used to love having Easter holidays...with a week tacked onto the end of the Easter weekend.

I was thinking about that book. Let us know how it is! I haven't been able to stick with a book in at least 6 months. Have fun gardening, too! I need to get some seeds in the ground before I can't bend over, heh.
