Emily's Bachelorette

Last weekend we had Emily's Bachelorette party to attend! The theme was "Last Chance Slumber Party" and we had a terrific time!

There was plenty of good food for a particularly cold evening outside.

Yummy desserts including these cookie shooters!

Facials for everyone!

 Nail painting!!

Emily and Christina:

I love this picture of all the girls' hands! Think of the caring and nurturing and hard work these hands perform! They represent many lives touched.

And there were gifts.......

And fall cookie decorating:

After the cookies we watched a chick flick.

By then it was time to get some sleep! We woke up to lovely morning light coming in the windows.

And a relaxed breakfast in the kitchen.

With plenty of coffee, espresso, and delicious goodies.

I have fond memories of chocolate covered donuts at my uncle's house so I was quite taken with these:

And Christina made GF gingerbread, chocolate and candied ginger muffins!

I left the party feeling like I had been at a retreat far from home. It was so much fun!

What a fab party! So many fun things to do and I do love the photo of their hands, and your thoughts about all that those hands do. All the best to Emily.
