December 5
I love school on Fridays. It is the day we reserve for anything and everything except math and language. Today we read Becky's Christmas by Tasha Tudor -- our very favorite Christmas story. It never gets old and each year we are inspired by it.
After our reading we had to make a Dundee Cake since Becky's family makes a similar fruitcake to enjoy throughout the Christmas season.
We also watched a video about Stravinsky and finished up our study of this composer.
Then it was time for me to pack for my adventure to Burrowwood Inn, which will have to be in a post of its own.
