Laura Turns 3

Laura turned three on Saturday! We celebrated with blueberry pancakes for lunch!

And there were a few presents to open.

David made a little notebook for his best buddy.

And of course there was "Olivia":

Sunday we celebrated with the family. Grandma came for lunch and brought the pretty flowers.

And we had the long-awaited blueberry cake! Laura has been talking about this for at least three months.

She knew just what to do, and of course so did Cousin John.

Everyone does need a cousin to help enjoy a party with!

And, to help if there happens to be some extra tough wrapping paper.

Or, just to make sure everything goes along as it should:

Oh the fun birthdays are for children!!!!

Present opening felt, and looked, like Christmas!

I found this doll house at my favorite store and everyone brought something to go inside.

Andrew made Laura her own tea tray which she loves!

And the party ended with the reading of the new book Laura received, complete with a page about a blueberry pie, which was very close to a blueberry cake.

Every day we never cease to be amazed at the good health Laura has been blessed with. She is doing so well and has far exceeded the prognosis we were originally given for her. We thank God for her continued growth and the joy that she brings to us all!

So cute! Love the bunny of course and that dollhouse is perfect. Such a cute kid I really enjoyed 3 with Eliot. I can't believe Willow will be 1 in a few months. Time flies.
