Yesterday was Andrew's 7th birthday. Emily made an amazing cake:
Andrew was pretty pleased:
There were cards and presents:
The highlight of the presents was this bike:
But the biggest surprise was this present:
We are all pretty excited. Here's Rachel, practicing by holding cousin John. (Notice the booties Rachel knitted for him all by herself).
So I'm figuring we have a long winter ahead of us, but a happy spring to look forward to.

I tried to tell Stephanie her brother was her 12th birthday present but she wasn't thrilled.
Thankfully, the little fellow endeared himself to her and now they are the best of friends.
Once he stopped spitting up all over her. :)
