The Difference a Year Can Make

Today we are remembering last November 8th when Laura was in surgery at this very minute. What a winter it was and how thankful we are that Laura has grown and developed and done so well!!!!

It's too bad she's not smiling in the recent picture, but she was more anxious about getting a few more chocolate chips. :)

We've just returned from a week's visit to the Wild West (Oklahoma). We have lots of pictures and stories about everything from scorpions to Indian fry bread. Right now I have to catch up on housework, laundry and school!

Seeing that picture brings back memories. I'm so happy she's doing so well. :)
On January 11 2012 it will be 6 years Collin had his heart surgery.

That's just awesome. I found your blog through your sister's blog. I have 5 month old twins (and a toddler about little John's age), one of which has had medical problems since birth. He too had to have open heart surgery. His was at one week old. He also gets fed through a tube for the time being due to some aspiration issues. We are told he will grow out of the issue. It's so awesome too see your little girl! It gives me so much hope for our little guy's future.
