A Breath of Fresh Air!

Today I saw my first robin, smelled that wonderful fresh, earthy Spring scent, and felt the warm rays of the sun as the temperature reached 67 degrees! Wow! All in one day. It's hard to believe when just a day or two ago it was in the 20's.

The children and I took a walk this afternoon and revelled in the possibility of Spring actually starting to make an appearance. I came home, turned off the heat, and threw open the windows! Oh, the smell is so wonderful!

We're just trying not to think about the snow predicted for Tuesday....

Hi Heather!
I managed to figure out how to post a comment here. I love your blog - you are an inspiration!! You do such beautiful work. I can see this will be a favourite stop-over for me now. Wish I could pop in for a cup of tea and visit with you all. And Wow!! I love your mother's watercolours.

My kids were asking to wear shorts today. Then I had to inform them that it was going to snow tonight. That's Indiana weather:)

Hi Heather,
Congratulations on your 100th post. The pictures you posted with it were just wonderful.
I'm so glad you saw a bit of spring and today being Tuesday that the snow stayed away.
Thank you for the anniversary wishes.
