The Incredible Shrink

My sisters and I have recently been dabbling in a bit of felting. Here is the latest project: Mom's Bag. This is what the bag looked like after I finished knitting it:

And here's what the bag looks like now, after a good hot bath in the washing machine, and a few days drying:

I love looking at Betz White's blog for wonderful inspiration with all things felted.

How cute! Your crafts always turn out so wonderfully!

I have felted a few sweaters this winter (I'll pretend I did it on purpose!) so now I'm wondering if I could craft something out of them instead of tossing them...
