December 24

Today was the day to make up for lost time!! After sleeping in I started in on all the baking left undone in recent days. I think everyone is healthy again! yay!

The day was pleasant with ClassicFM playing in the background, the doorbell ringing as various neighbors dropped things by, and two unexpected packages from the post office from distant lands!

Tray after tray after tray went in the oven! And I think it is all done!

Now for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of cheeses, meats, veggies, olives -- all eaten in the living room. And then the children will want their traditional viewing of The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I'll be spending the evening wrapping......

I cleaned and cleaned, decorated and wrapped and now I'm waiting for kids to fall asleep so I can do the stocking thing.

So glad that you've had some slow days and then got it all done! I hope your Christmas is a blessed time for you and your family!

Have a very Merry Christmas! I put up photos on the blog of our Christmas Eve table. It is a day of rest and leftovers for me!

I had on the Moody Radio channel (89.9 here and I think in Indy) while finishing my baking and starting dinner before switching to my own CDs.

Hi sweet Heather! I hope you didn't stay up too late wrapping! I baked up until yesterday, too! It's never ending! Oh, wait! It HAS ended!
